History of Indar's Roti and Doubles

Indar's Roti and Doubles was founded in Canada in 2012 by Indar and his wife.

Indar, his wife and 2 kids migrated to Canada in 1997 from Trinidad. Before migrating to Canada they both operated a successful restaurant in Trinidad. They have a passion for cooking and enjoy serving great authentic Caribbean foods along with great customer service.

When they migrated they found jobs in the manufacturing industry, settling into the new life in Canada was getting challenging juggling around jobs and kids etc.

As time progressed Indar kept getting the urge to follow his calling. With a passion for cooking and serving great tasting food the opportunity came where they found a great location for a food establishment. They decided to quit their factory jobs and continue into the restaurant business with full throttle and dedication.

Upon completion, the restaurant doors were finally opened to serve the public in September 2012.

Their son Narin joined the establishment in 2013 and adapted and learned to manage the business alongside his mom and dad and dedicated workers. He built excellent customer service relationship with all his customers, where he would know exactly what they came for before they ordered. With hard work, passion and dedication alongside his parents they built the family business into the success of what it is today.

Narin got married and introduced his wife Arouna into the business and she quickly joined her new family into pushing the business to further success.
